Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

BenchPro ("we," "our," "us") builds diagnostic software for phone and computer repair shops: the Bench Pro Tech Station desktop app, the BenchPro Tester phone app, and the BenchPro Scanner companion app. This policy explains what data each one collects, why, and how it's handled.

Who this applies to

BenchPro is business software sold to repair shops (our "customers") — it is not sold or marketed directly to the phone/computer owners those shops service. This policy covers both: the shop's technicians and owners who use our software directly, and the end customers whose devices get tested, since some of their information (device details, diagnostic results) passes through our systems in the course of a repair shop using our product.

What we collect

From repair shop accounts (technicians and owners):

From a diagnostic test run on a customer's device:

How we use it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use diagnostic data from customers' devices for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run BenchPro, each of which processes data only on our behalf:

We don't share data with anyone else except where required by law.

Data retention

Diagnostic reports and account data are retained for as long as a store's account is active, so shops can look up past repairs and reports. A shop owner can request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us (below).

Your choices

Children's privacy

BenchPro is business software intended for use by repair shop staff, not children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
